I Love A Clean San Diego
Blueprints of Change
Commissioned by the NGO I Love A Clean San Diego, this piece was created to promote their new online platform, WasteFreeSD.org—a tool where users can type in any item and instantly find the nearest recycling location.
I brought in artists Piper and Taleen to bring the concept to life using denim textile waste sourced from one of the actual drop-off locations on the map.
We designed a fading gradient to represent the vast water used in denim production, and incorporated metal accents to highlight that metals are infinitely recyclable—reminding viewers that even jeans can have a second life when disposed of properly.
