ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING CAMPAIGN

WIRED WORLD

In collaboration with the City of San Diego, I was commissioned to create a compelling campaign that emphasizes the importance of e-waste recycling. The project’s focal point was a striking art piece crafted entirely from tech waste—materials that would have otherwise ended up in landfills. This piece not only sparked thought-provoking conversations but also brought attention to the crucial need for responsible e-waste disposal.

Art Piece

The art piece serves as both a reminder and a call to action. The materials, once destined for landfills, were transformed into a cohesive representation of our digital world—highlighting the energy and precious resources tied up in the tech we use daily.

Through this art, I sought to show the value in what we often overlook, while sparking important conversations around e-waste recycling and sustainability. It’s a powerful visual testament to how creative thinking can turn "waste" into something valuable, beautiful, and impactful.

Film

The campaign included a powerful film, directed by the talented filmmaker Tava Kessler, that showcases the journey of these discarded electronic items being transformed into art. The film tells a story of innovation, environmental impact, and the importance of preserving resources by recycling e-waste. It’s designed to inspire and challenge viewers to rethink their relationship with technology and waste.
