WSL One Ocean

This was a collaboration with the illustration artist, Lizzy. We joined forces, repurposing discarded treasures from the beaches of a cute surf town with some of the best waves in the world yet completely littered in fishing nets, nurdles (small lentil-sized plastic pellets are that are the building blocks for most plastic products like barbies), plastic ear bud swaps, and a bunch of random other stuff. of Peniche, This piece sparks conversations on consumerism, fast fashion, and the pervasive impact of plastic pollution, all through the lens of Barbie's iconic presence in our culture
